Dr. Sarah Israel was the Chief Surgical Resident at Texas A&M University Veterinary Teaching Hospital. Originally from Austin, Texas, Sarah completed her veterinary training at Texas A&M University (DVM) and The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine (internship) before starting her surgical residency at Texas A&M University in 2006. Sarah has strong interest in orthopedics and neurosurgery and has published her research comparing the sensitivity of CT vs. myelography for the diagnosis of disc herniation in dogs. In addition, she has developed strong skills in arthroscopic treatment of conditions of the canine stifle, elbow, and shoulder. |

In 1997, Drew Greller received his bachelor's of science degree from the University of Michigan. Drew went on to complete a Veterinariea Medicinae Doctoris at the University of Pennsylvania, School of Veterinary Medicine in 2002. He completed a Small Animal Medicine, Emergency, and Surgery Intership at Friendship Hospital for Animals in 2003 and a Small Animal Ophthalmology Intership at Animal Ophthalmology Clinic in 2004. Drew completed a Residency in Comparative Ophthalmology at Eye Care for Animals in 2007. Dr. Greller comes to Texas from Springfield, Virginia to join South Texas Veterinary Ophthalmology. |
