The Canine Sports Medicine Center will also provide therapy for patient's suffering from chronic conditions which produce osteoarthritis or degenerative muscle or neurologic weakness. In these cases, physical therapy can improve quality of life and extend a pet's time with their family.
The Canine Sports Medicine Center will offer the latest in physical therapy rehabilitation. Your pet will have access to aquatic therapy using our underwater treadmill, proprioception (balance and stability) analysis and therapy, gait training, therapeutic ultrasound, neuromuscular stimulation, massage, hot and cryo therapy, and therapeutic exercise. Our clients will also be given beneficial tips on how to further assist their pet's recovery at home. Our physical therapist will work closely with the surgeon as well as your referring veterinarian during the therapy process to ensure that your pet achieves the best possible recovery outcome.
