Order a prescription refill with STVAD: (Established patients only)

Prescription refill policy
STVAD is not open on Saturday or Sunday. On occasion, you may need to request a prescription refill to ensure your pet has an adequate supply of medications or prescribed food. Refills for STVAD patients may be requested Monday to Thursday 8:00 am to 4:00 pm and Friday 8:00 am to 10:00 am. To request refills please utilize the STVAD prescription refill voice mail system, the STVAD prescription refill email system, or the online submission form. Filled prescriptions may be picked up at STVAD reception Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. You may also contact your primary care veterinarian for refills.

Important points

• Dr. Pinchbeck will approve refills (except for food and shampoo therapy products).
• This may require review of the medical record by Dr. Pinchbeck or a telephone update on how your pet is doing.
• You will be called or emailed when the medication is ready to be picked up at STVAD.
• Prescriptions cannot be filled when requests are made outside the above hours or on weekends, unless there is a dermatologic emergency.
• On holidays, weekends, or outside of business hours, if you require medications to be refilled, additional fees may apply.
• We fill prescriptions in a timely fashion, usually within a few hours. However, please plan ahead. If a dermatology team member is not present, prescriptions cannot be refilled.
• Prescriptions may be refilled through your local veterinarian outside STVAD hours.
